Euphemia Clark was a spinster, living in Central Bedeque. The officiating clergyman was Rev. William Harrison.6

The family religion was Methodist. Ira was a stonecutter.3
Wife	She was enumerated on the census on 21 June 1911 in the household of Edwin Ira Purdy, as his wife, in 62 Highland Ave., Charlottetown, Queens County, Prince Edward Island, CanadaG. Enumerated in the household of Ira Purdy (age 42) were his wife, Euphemia Clark (age 39), their children, May/Mary (age 15), Belle (age 11), Florence (age 9) and Marjorie (age 4). Ira was a stone cutter for a cemetery stone store. The family religion was Methodist.7
Census	She was head of the household in the census on 1 June 1921 in Charlottetown, Queens County, Prince Edward Island, CanadaG. Enumerated in the household of Euphemia (Clark) Purdy (age 49) were her youngest daughters, Florence (age 19) and Marjorie (age 14). Euphemia & Florence were stenographers, Marjorie was a student. The family religion was Methodist. Eupemia's marital status was recorded as married, although her husband was not enumerated here at this time.8
Death	She died on 14 March 1948 in Little Shemogue, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, CanadaG. Purdy, Mrs. M. E. [nee Euphemia Clark] Summerside Journal - 15 March 1948, page 12, col. 3 Summerside Lady Bereaved Mrs. Leigh Stewart, Summerside, received word yesterday of the death in the early hours of the morning of her mother, Mrs. M. E. Purdy, at Little Shemogue, N.B., at the age of 74 years. She was the former Euphemia Clark of Bedeque, later of Charlottetown. Her husband has been dead for some years. She is survived by five daughters: Mrs. Ida Whittingham, Mrs. William Urquhart and Mrs. W. E. Burden, all of San Francisco; Mrs. Lorne Crabbe, Charlottetown; and Mrs. Stewart of Summerside mentioned above. There is also a half-sister, Mrs. Lulu Clark of Charlottetown.9
Burial	She was buried in the People's Cemetery, Charlottetown, Queens County, Prince Edward Island, CanadaG. she is buried with her son Wallie.10
