DeathJohn Ryerson Arnett died on 8 October 1934 in Roxbury Hospital, Roxbury, Massachusetts, USAG.

Obituary: "Freetown Notes: The sincere sympathy of the entire community is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Arnett of Albany in their sad bereavement in the death of their son Jack in the Roxbury Hospital, Roxbury, Mass., at 10:30 last Monday morning. The deceased was taken suddenly ill about three weeks ago and was operated on for an abscess on the brain and was doing nicely when complications set in and he passed away. The late Mr. Arnett went to the States when a young man. Of estimable qualities, quiet and gentle disposition, he won for himself a large circle of friends, all of whom were shocked to learn of his sudden passing in the prime of manhood.

"There are left to mourn besides a sorrowing widow, his mother (who had been with him since his operation), and father, two sisters, (Mrs. Claude Howatt of Cape Traverse and Mrs. Heber Schurman of Chelton) and one brother, Ernest, at home. The remains were forwarded home for burial, which took place at Albany, Friday."3,6

InterredHe was buried in the plot of William Harrison Arnett, in the United Church Cemetery, Searletown, Prince County, Prince Edward Island, Canada, 46.30273, -63.68979G.
