- Janet was a school teacher. She married August 5,1953, in Trenton, New Jersey, George W. Schock, who was a propane stove salesman. Janet died February 21,1963, Trenton, New Jersey. According to a letter written to her cousin, Adelaide Barbour, it appears that Janet died of cancer (dated December 19, 1962). She taught school at Margate, Prince Edward Island, in 1923 after graduating from Prince of Wales College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She also attended Mt. Allison University, Sackville, New Brunswick, and McGill University (1938) in Montréal, Québec.
