It was from Binghamton, NY, a certain Chrissis Ulshaffer? who said 'I am your very true and loving friend' We have a letter dated June 17, 1878? to TJ. Warren of Chicago. It was from Minneapolis, Minn. We have a letter dated July 21, 1878 to Theresa Jane Warren of Bradford, Illinois from her (woman) friend A.L. Ray? of Minneapolis, Minn (Theresa was 28 years old at that time) We have another letter from that same year (1878) To T.J. Warren of Bradford, Stark Co., Illinois from a friend: Frank E. Carey ofMontville, Maine We have another letter written to her (Theresa Jane Warren), 27 BeachStreet, Boston Mass. from ________? who lived at Bradford, Stark Co.,Illinois She married James Hartson Damon in on Dec 31, 1879 in Bradford, Illinois Eva Mae Damon was their only daughter. Eva's brother was Warren Damonwho was the Editor of the Mohave Co. Miner in Kingman, Arizona. Theresa Jane Warren is listed in the 1920-21 Bremerton City Directory as'Mrs.Theresa J. Damon', 'furnished rooms' and her home is listed as'333-4th'. We know that her daughter Eva Mae (Damon) Mehner was married and livingin Bremerton at this time, too. We wonder if Warren Ave. in Bremertonand Dr. John F. Damon the famous territorial 'Marrying Parson' arerelated to her ancestors in New England. She died April 22, 1942 in Seattle, WA She is buried in the Lakeview Cemetery, #3-11 33B, West Side (next toVolunteer Park) Seattle, WA Photo of Theresa Jane (Warren) Damon's gravestone and a photo of LakeView Cemetery's entrance are in her scrapbook.
