- Exerpt from the Summerside Journal obituary: "Many will learn with deep regret of the death of Mr. John S. Cousins of Park Corner, who passed peacefully away at his home there last Saturday, aged 81 years. He had been in ill health for some time, following the fracture of a limb, which he had been under treatment for in the P.E.I. Hospital for four months. His death ensued two months after his return to his home from the hospital."
