"Mrs. Axelsen was born in Walhalla, N.D. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Beaverton, the Rebekahs and Beaverton Barracks 1760, Veterans of World War I Auxiliary.
"She is survived by her son, Lloyd Jameson of Bismarck, N.D.; brothers, James and Robert Schurman, both of Beaverton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Beaverton. Private burial will be in Crescent Grove Cemetery in Tigard."(The Oregonian, 21 Dec. 1983)
