Obituary: The death occurred at his home in Spring Valley on Monday morning the 27th inst. of Mr. George Lockhart a well known and highly respected resident of that place. Although in poor health for some time the end came somewhat unexpectedly. He leaves to mourn six sons and three daughters. His wife predeceased him several years ago. The sons are Rev. D. Lockhart, Souris, Alexander in Western Canada, John L., Clifton, Arthur, Truro, N.S., Charles in Spring Valley and George at home. The daughters are Mrs. Charles Ramsay, Summerside, Mrs. George Crozier, Hamilton, and Mrs. Percy McMurdo, Kelvin. He also leaves several brothers and sisters, the brothers being Anthony of Coleman, William, St. John, N.B., and Alexander of St. Eleanors. The sisters are Mrs. Edward Bryenton, Burlington and Mrs. William Harrington, Spring Valley, to all of whom sincere sympathy is extended. The funeral takes place this Wednesday at 2 p.m."11,4,5 |
