Death	William Dyer died on 21 April 1719 in Newport, Rhode IslandG. Dyer, William, house carpenter, executed at Newport, Rhode Island, for murdering his wife, Apr.21,1719. [Boston News Letter] [Index of Obituaries 1704-1800]. He was indicted for the murder of his wife Hannah, and executed on that charge. 16 June 1719 - Whereas Samuel Dyer of Newport, yeoman, has petitioned Assembly to release the forfeiture of the estate of his brother William Dyre (who was lately executed in the town of Newport, which was forfeited to this colony) for the subsistence of his children; ordered that after charges of imprisonment, trial and execution of William Dyre are satisfied, real and personal shall be discharged. (Frances W.)Anderson, then of 1117 North I Street, Aberdeen, Washington. NDp.93 Little Compton Families pg 254: They probably lived on the John Dyer Roadfor according to the witnesses of her will they lived in the= part of thetown. The census of 1774 shows her to be living next to the Stoddards onDyer Road. Her will, recorded in LC Probate, book 2, page 399, made 5 Jan 1775 andproved 4 Aug 1778: 'To sons James.
