Faye Coy of Upper Gagetown occurred at home on Friday, January 10th, 2003. Born in Fredericton, NB she was the daughter of the late Henry Weston and Lillian (Banks) Weston and the wife of the late Leonard Coy. Faye worked for the Department of National Defense before the birth of her first child after which, she worked for many years at the Bank of Nova Scotia in Gagetown and later as a mail carrier for Canada Post retiring in November 2002. Faye was very involved and busy in the community with Lioness, the Queens County Fair and playing bingo, but most of all she enjoyed family, friends and especially teasing her son- in -laws. Survived by one son, Alvin (Noreen) of Upper Gagetown, NB; two daughters, Tammy Gordon (Allison) of Upper Gagetown, NB and Trudy Hopkins (Don) of Ottawa, ON; grandchildren, Scott, Adam and Michelle Coy, Jillian and Joelle Hopkins and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Monday, January 13th, 2003, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 14th, 2003 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jim McLellan officiating.
