Biographical Note |
- Thomas de Beauchamp was a nobleman and military commander during the Hundred Years' War. He was one of the commanders at the English victories at Crécy and Poitiers. He fought in all of the French wars of King Edward III. He was guardian of the sixteen year old Black Prince. He fought at Poitiers in 1356, and at the siege of Calais where he died from the plague.
