  	Obituary from the Agriculturist: "A wide circle of relatives and friends will regret to learn of the death of Mr. William Walker, an old and highly respected citizen, which occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Cannon at an early hour this (Friday) morning. The late Mr. Walker was 80 years of age and was a man of the finest character. He returned from California, where he had spent about eighteen years, about a year ago, and had since been living with relatives. Two sons, Ernest, Lynn, Mass., and Gavin, St. Peters, and one daughter, Miss Carrie in Nova Scotia, survive, as well as a sister, Mrs. Elijah Schurman, Lot 16. The funeral will be held on Sunday from the home of Mr. W. B. Cannon, Granville St., to People’s Cemetery". The H. W. Cannon mentioned above is Hammond William Bliss Cannon and Eleanor Jane Delorus Walker, William's niece.
